MODULU$ EC$-10 BUCK$ MORE!

Toys R Us $ale ends...

Do you know why this guy is smiling? Because he got a Modulus at Toys R Us for $39.99 before they jacked the price back up to $49.99. Saturday I told you the price had been dropped by 10 dollars but that didn't last long and we are back to 50 bucks. Also keep in mind you are also going to need about $2.50 worth of batteries to power it.
Now let's throw in the 4 upgrade kits at $15 a piece for another $60 total and now we are looking at a grand total of about $112.50 + tax (USD) for the complete Modulus system This seems to be the standard retail price, I'm picking on TrU just because they raised my hopes and then dashed them.
I also want to repeat 2 more things from the add, taken out of context, just because I am displeased.
TrU- " Boys can build their own blaster for almost any battle or mission!"   -Sexist?
Hasbro- "Many of our products, are protected. Appropriate legal action will be taken against infringers of these rights."    -Sue happy/need to lighten up?
Wal-mart also displeased me tonight so I walked out of there without the CROSSBOLT I was going to buy, but that's another story... Just take a deep breath and...

MODULUS -PRICES DROPPING ALREADY.

Just as the new N-Strike MODULUS ECS-10 is starting to hit store shelves for an average price of  about $50 (USD), it is already becoming available at a reduced price! If you look at the Toys R Us website  you will see it listed right now for $39.99, a savings of ten bucks! On Amazon the MODULUS can be found for as little as $29.99 (Amazon link). Wal-mart and Target are both still holding out for $50 but I'm sure it won't be long before we see those prices drop as well.
It seems that somebody has realized that a $49.9-something price tag just wasn't going to cut it for a re-shelled STRYFE, especially when you are trying to sell a bunch of accessories to go with it. I'm sure a lot of people (myself included) are going to find this blaster a bit more appealing now that it is more reasonably priced.
If you are one of those who already forked out the big money for one... at least you got one first. If you have been living somewhere under a foam rock... you can read more details about the thing here N-STRKIE MODULUS ECS-10.   Maybe we will all be able to afford to "Modulate"  after all?
