NERF'N IN NOVEMBER- NEW BLASTERS AND NEWS

November already... I thought I should try to get a new post up before Christmas got here. I don't know where time has been going lately and I noticed that I only got one post up again last month. At least I managed to post it twice (I'll fix that). My last post was about the up-coming ACCUSTRIKE blasters, so lets start by taking a peek at a few more blasters that we'll be getting in 2017 and some other Nerf news too!

First is the N-STRIKE Elite DISRUPTOR. This is pretty straight forward... it's a 6 shot re-shell of the STRONGARM.The major difference being the open faced, HAMMERSOT-like cylinder. The MSRP should be about $12(MSRP).

Speaking of ELITE re-shells... how about a repaint with no stock? Introducing the SHARPFIRE DELTA. It's $10(MSRP) and I just might get it because of the color. I'm not sure why Hasbro didn't just make it blue the first time?

Next we have a couple of new revolvers. First the hammer primed, 8- shot   DOOMLANDS 2169 NEGOTIATOR.

The other offering comes in the form of a ZOMBIE-STRIKE 5-shot, rotating cylinder, crossbow style blaster called the OUTBREAKER BOW.

Early rumblings in the Nerfing community about both of these blasters are not very encouraging, but really when are they? The manufacturers suggested retail price/MSRP in US
dollars-$20 each.

One more ZOMBIE-STRIKE oddity is the CLAMPDOWN. Undoubtedly a JOLT re-shell, the Clampdown is designed to look like workshop tools have been combined to create a compact blaster. It has a tactical rail and comes with 2 darts. The CLAMPDOWN is a 2016 release but still hasn't hit stores in parts of the world and can be a little hard to find. The MSRP for it is approx. $6.

Now let's take a look at couple of new MODULUS blasters that also serve double duty as stock attachments.  First up is the STOCKSHOT. This 4-shot can be used on it's own or will convert in to a stock attachment  for use on other blasters via an extendable front end.

The BARRELSTRIKE is also a 4-shot MODULUS blaster made to be used either on it's own or (as the name suggests) a  barrel attachment for other MODULUS blasters. Both blasters will be available at most major retailors for about 15 U S dollars each.

   Finally I want to talk about a couple of new MEGA blasters. The first isn't really new it just was released in such a way that it's just now starting to hit stores in America and other parts of the world.  It's the MEGA HOTSHOCK. This blaster has actually been available in some markets since April 2016. It's been referred to as the "Snapfire of the Mega series". It's selling in the U S for about $10 and comes with 2 MEGA darts.

The Mega DOUBLEBREACH is the first shotgun style MEGA blaster. It is pump action, loaded via a breach door, and it fires 1 dart at a time a claimed 90 feet. The DOUBLEBREACH will also come with 6 MEGA darts and be available early 2017 for about 25 bucks.

Finally I present the MEGA SAMARITAN. Some of you may already recognize it. It's actually a concept created by a guy named Rob Poole, and sadly not a new addition to the MEGA series at all. Rob might be best known for his blog and YouTube channel S.B.N.C  or Southern Brisbane Nerf Club. Sadly,Rob has announced that he is leaving the Nerfing community. I never got to know Rob but I've appreciated a lot his work and contributions to the Nerf universe and wish him the best of luck. I'll miss stuff like this...
