SONIC ICE

Sonic Ice... It's a cool name.
It's also the name of a special series of blasters that first hit stores last year. I finally got to see some in person. So if you are still a little unfamiliar, it's kind of like this... The Nerf N-Strike Elite Sonic Ice Series is a Toys R Us exclusive. They are re-releases of some Elite blasters molded with a clear-blue/translucent shell, the latest being the Centurion released earlier this year.

Also currently available are the Retaliator, Rampage, Hail-Fire, and Jolt. Here are pictures of them. I  don't own any in the series.

Now I do think these re-shells look good and lend themselves (almost begs) to lighting mods, that's about it. No better ranges or extra stuff... Currently Toys R Us has the Retaliator and Rampage marked down to $35 or for $5 more get a Centurion, and you can only get the Jolt in a special 4 pack along with 2 red Sonic Fire Jolts... so we'll be looking for more from the Sonic Fire Series as well. .Sonic Jolts
