STAR-LORD'S QUAD BLASTER

Nerf Makes A Nice Replica.

For any fan of both Nerf and GOTG it's a must have. Originally released last year... I've had my eye on this one for a while and as good things come to those who wait, it went on sale. So now I have a STAR-LORD QUAD BLASTER.

Peter Quill ,you might know him by his other name, STAR-LORD

Yes the officially licensed  Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy-
Nerf STAR-LORD Quad Blaster!  Here are pics of it boxed which shows it includes 4 black foam elite darts, has firing instructions, and then there's the upper right of the box...

First here are some more pics of it out of the box.  You can see it looks good overall despite being too orange. A paint job would make it costume/prop ready.    The smaller/lower trigger retracts the spring loaded barrel covers. Four shots can be fired either 1 or 2 at a time , inner barrels first via smart ARs, Pretty cool. I guess you'd need 2 to do STAR-LORD properly and now they can be found for less than the original $20 average price.

Now about the upper right of the box...it says "Fires up to 25 Feet!" Unfortunately that is very accurate because each set of barrels is powered basically by JOLT internals. I won't go in to further internal details but this blaster is no power house. If you like gimmicky, themed blasters (I
love 'em) this is one of the better ones I've seen so far. Despite the range the looks and function are great!

STAR-LORD QUAD BLASTER
Nice reproduction-yes, TactiCOOL-yes, FUNctional-yes

Cosplayers, conventioneers, and even Groot  also like this blaster because of it's size, detail, and ease to mod with just paint.  Whether you mod it or not it is Star-Lord's blaster and it's cool. I recommend try picking one up  for $15  or less- new.

DOUBLEDOWN RE-COLOR

Last March I did a spot on the Nerf DOUBLEDOWN. Along with pointing out faults I mentioned some positive qualities about this blaster and how I personally liked the overall sleek design and looks of it. I also asked what your thoughts about it were.

My DOUBLEDOWN fresh out of the box...

Due to my displeasure with the original color palate and the overwhelming amount of comments I received about this blaster...  (o_o)    there seemed to be no choice other than to paint the thing and write a second post about this out of step N-Strike blaster.
