HAMMERSHOT RESKINS

 That's right, one of NERF's most popular blasters is now available in three new color schemes.

The Zombie Strike HAMMERSHOT first hit the seen back in late summer of 2013. If you're not familiar with the HAMMERSHOT (perhaps you've been in a coma, or living under a rock?), it's a 5 shot revolver that is primed via a hammer. 

Old school HAMMERSHOT 

The HAMMERSHOT was originally a Target exclusive, that sold for about $15 bucks, but has since been released at most major retailers. 

The HAMMERSHOT quickly became one of NERF's most popular blasters, as well as becoming very popular in the modding community. Because of this , there are many aftermarket parts available such as six, seven, or eight shot cylinders, springs, hammers, triggers, barrel extensions, and more...

These 3 new re-skins are called the CAUTION, which is primarily yellow, orange, and black with gray and silver high-lights.

The SPLATTER, with it's very colorful lime green, magenta, purple, black, and orange paint job.

Last but not least is the UNDEAD RED version, that is mostly red, with a grey handle, and touches of white, yellow and orange. The UNDEAD RED version also sports some yellow "count" marks on the side.

That's about it... I already have 3 HAMMERSHOTs, so I probably won't be picking one up, at least not at 18 bucks each... but I'm kind of glad to see the new versions come out anyway. So until the next time, remember to wear that mask and...
