I've wanted one of these since I first heard about it four years ago.
When I saw them for an incredible price I just had to have one...
The PERSES hit stores in the fall of 2019. It's a 50 round, fully automatic, NERF RIVAL blaster, capable of firing 8 high impact rounds (HIR) per second. Faster and more compact than the NEMESIS, the PERSES retails for 100 bucks.
In the weeks leading up to Christmas I saw that Wallly-Mart was selling the PERSES for $50... half off regular price! I was tempted to buy one, but Christmas gifts for family and friends took priority. A week or so later and with most of my Christmas shopping done, I checked the Wallly-Mart website again... now the PERSES was 40 bucks with free shipping. I couldn't resist and bought one.
Shipping took a little longer than expected, but it was the holiday season after all... when my Package arrived, there was no fancy, printed, box... just a plain brown box.

Inside the box was the blaster, hopper, and charger, wrapped in plastic. A battery, bag of 50 balls (HIR), and an instruction were in a smaller box.

After unwrapping everything and charging up the battery, it was time to get down to business.
The PERSES has a 50 round, detachable hopper. The hopper is roughly 14 inches long and 2 inches wide. The entire top is hinged for loading.

The hopper release lever is located on the left side of the blaster.

Just in front of the hopper is a very clever jamb door. The door slides open with the push of a button, and allows direct access to the flywheels.

The removable, rechargeable, 9.6 volt, 1500mAH, NiMH battery fits nicely in front of the trigger hand guard, underneath the hopper helping make a well balanced, sleek blaster. The battery release button is below the battery, on the bottom of the blaster.

As with other RIVAL flywheel blasters, the PERSES also features the typical ambidextrous safety switch and dual trigger system (acceleration/rev trigger and main firing trigger).

Interestingly PERSES was the Titan god of destruction, but the blaster does not have the word PERSES anywhere on it. While MXIX is molded into the right side of the blaster, the Roman numerals convert to 1019. The product number is E4859... I have no idea what MXIX 5000 is about?
