Zombie Strike CLEAR SHOT for Halloween

Last week was Halloween and the candy was dandy but the best treat I got was a new Zombie Strike CLEAR SHOT

My Halloween Zombie Strike Clear Shot still in the box.
.  The Clear Shot is different from the rest of  Zed Squad blasters in several ways: To start it is a Target exclusive; It is also the only one to come with a scope accessory (pretty cool); It has a smooth design with no "cloth-wrap" handle and is orange and grey lacking any brown or green as almost all Zombie Strike blasters have.
The CLEAR SHOT is 11" by7" not including the scope, that not as cool-look'n little JOLT is more accurate and gets better ranges.

The reason for the simple orange and grey color scheme is most likely because the CLEAR SHOT is a simple repaint of the 2009 Dart Tag STORM FIRE. Except for the scope, some ZOMBIE STRIKE markings and the color change there has been no mechanical upgrades to the original '09 design so by todays Elite performance standards it falls short only getting an average 30' range or so.
I think because of this the CLEAR SHOT has a little bit of a bad reputation.
I'll admit this blaster lacks power but I like the larger size and overall look and design of it. I also like the scope a lot itself, it goes great with other blasters.
I like the way the scope looks on some of the other Z-Strike blasters like my Hammer Shot
I should also note that along with that cool scope the blaster comes with 2 syringe style and 2 plain marked Z-Strike darts. I'm happy to add this blaster to my Zombie Strike Arsenal. Trick-or-Treat, hope you had a Happy Halloween too.

THE XENO CANNON

In space no one can hear you scream... but you will scream if Xenomorph 1320-D pops out of some air vent and comes after you with his XENO CANNON!

The Rhinos Are Coming

Are you ready to dominate any battlefield with the double-barrel assault of the Rhino-Fire blaster? Are you sure you're ready... really, really  ready? Well those Elite Rhino-Fires are getting closer to hitting the shelves at Walmart. Their  web site  now has them up and listed for $89.97 (pleasantly about ten bucks less than I was expecting) and available for preorder now. I think it's a little funny that it also says "Preorder this item today and it should ship on 11/15/2014." I wonder why they say "should"?
While I'm quoting websites, Amazon.es  (Spain)   still says "Este producto saldrá a la venta el 1 de noviembre de 2014" or This product will be released on November 1, 2014.  I was also curious about other international releases and availability, since Walmart operates  under 71 banners in 27 countries. I'll pass along any info I get about that.

Rhino-Fire Presale and Release Date

If you haven't heard anything about the RHINO-FIRE ... how come?  A look at Amazon.es (Spain) now shows a release date of November 1st and  pre-order is available. They will want to sell as many as possible by Christmas so I wonder when we will actually see it in stores? I'm get'n so excited!

Have'n a Blast

My local Wal-mart finally got some blasters in-stock including the Demolisher 2-in-1. I've been wanting a missile  launching blaster for a while. They also had the  Buzz Bee Extreme BLASTZOOKA for less than a third of the price of a Demolisher, so I picked up one of these foam missile launchers and was pleasantly surprised.
My new Blastzooka!
This 21" (53.34cm) long, shoulder fired,  pump-up, air tank powered blaster seems to fire it's (2) stock 6 inch(152mm) long, 4.5g missiles close to the claimed 50' (15.2m) range plus some if you angle it a little. Seems about 6 or 7 pumps gets max air pressure.
Missile compared to elite dart.

I had heard that these blasters weren't too popular and were "ugly", but mine is gray not blue as pictured on the box it came in and I think it looks ok and come on... it's a bazooka!
Buzz Bee Boy with blue Blastzooka.
Here are a couple more views of mine to give you a better idea of it's size and how it looks.

About 24in.(61cm) long loaded.
This one is a definite candidate for modding, I'm sure someone has at least done a dart conversion. I might like just a little more power/ distance out of it but I have got to say it's not bad out of the box, especially for indoor use. I'd say this blaster is very FUN-ctional, especially considering it costs about the same as a Fire-Strike and it fires missiles.
