NERF Zombie - No STRIKE

 NERF releases a new Zombie themed series .

New for 2024, NERF releases another zombie based series with 2 new blasters...

I've aways been a big fan of the Zombie Strike series. Although the series has been discontinued, most of the blasters are accessories can still be found for sale online. 

Now NERF is releasing 2 more zombie blasters,  but they are not part of the Zombie Strike series... Instead they are the first two products from the all new NERF ZOMBIE Series. 

First is the NERF ZOMBIE DRILLER.  Basically what you have here is a HAMMERSHOT in a new  shell. 

NERF ZOMBIE DRILLER 

The DRILLER is going to cost you about 25 bucks and comes with  the blaster, a removable scope, and 16 Elite darts.

It is fully decorated with colorful, eye-grabbing, and zombie-inspired graffiti designs on both sides. The DRILLER features a five shot,  rotating cylinder. There is a tactical rail on the top and another on the bottom of the blaster, and storage for 4 more darts at the bottom of the grip. The DRILLER  is designed to look like a drill that's been turned into a zombie fighting blaster. It is decorated with colorful, zombie-inspired graffiti designs on both sides. The DRILLER is larger than a HAMMERSHOT, but operates similarly. 

Next we have the STRIKEOUT. The Zombie Strikeout blaster is designed to look like a broken baseball bat with a circular saw blade attached to it. 

NERF ZOMBIE STRIKEOUT 

The STRIKEOUT is listed on  Amazon  for$14.99 US dollars. It comes packaged with the  blaster and 8 Elite darts. 

Like the DRILLER, the STRIKEOUT is fully decorated with colorful, zombie-inspired graffiti designs on both sides. The STRIKEOUT operates by hand loading 2 darts in the end of the blaster. It is primed by pulling the priming handle back. Pushing the firing button on the handle fires 1 dart via a smart AR.

  The blaster must then be primed again to fire the second dart. As far as bats go, the STRIKEOUT is a little short at only 14 inches (36 cm) long.  Time will tell whether or not this new zombie themed series will be successful. I personally would rather seen some new additions to the old ZOMBIE STRIKE series. 

I guess we'll see what else 2024 has to offer... Happy New Year, and...
